The Naval Support Activity Bethesda (NSAB) has a NEW requirement task order contract that will service Bethesda, and is valued at $12,057,988. This project replaces chillers 3-9 in building 16 at Naval Support Activity Bethesda with new nominal 1,500-ton centrifugal chillers. The corresponding primary chilled water pumps are also to be replaced, along with valves at the chillers and pumps. Piping modifications are limited to those necessary to remove and install the new equipment. All new chillers, refrigerant monitoring, energy measuring devices, and control devices will be compatible and integrated with the existing plant control system.
