THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for costs incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The intent of this sources sought notice is to determine if there is sufficient small businesses (or further socio-economic designation) who are capable of performing the required work for Galleries 13 and 14 (interior) – Macro Exhibits on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and coordination necessary to fabricate and install structural floor supports for large scale (macro) museum artifacts. The project will install the macro artifacts on the fabricated supports. A total of five (5) supports and artifact installation comprise this project’s scope of work. The project location is vacant space referred to as Galleries 13 and 14 (interior) within the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The Museum is located at 18900 Jefferson Davis HWY, Triangle, VA 22172. The principal NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Interested firms must submit the information required by "Sources Sought Required Information" document, as early as possible but no later than March 27, 2020. The response should include a list of three recent projects similar to the scope and size of the subject project, to include a short description of the project, the dollar value, the date completed, and whether the concern was the prime or subcontractor for the project. The response should also include the company CAGE code, and the company DUNS number. Incomplete responses will not be reviewed.
