NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the NAVFAC Facility Engineering and Acquisition Division, Marine Corps Base Quantico, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Fentress Architects, 421 BROADWAY DENVER, CO, 80203-3403. NAVFAC Washington/ FEAD Quantico will use Other Than Full and Open Competition. The proposed contract will provide architectural and engineering services for the design of vacant galleries located in the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541310 with a small business standard of $4.5 million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 10:00am EST 30 December 2019 via email to deidre.parker@navy.mil, soledad.credo1@navy.mil, dotty.medel1@navy.mil, william.robson@usmc.mil . A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
