The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington intends to issue a solicitation for a Firm Fixed-Price Construction contract for renovation of building 168, located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. for the development of a secure suite to support analytic operations. The requirement is anticipated to be issued under NAVFAC Solicitation, and be posted to the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPWE), at https://beta.sam.gov/ in or around July 2020. The period of performance for the planned contract is estimated to be 365 days, after award or notice to proceed. The estimated maximum value for the planned contract is $12.8 million. The requirement will be solicited utilizing Full & Open Unrestricted competitive negotiation procedures under FAR Part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code that applies to this acquisition is 236220, with the annual size standard of $39.5M. Evaluation will be conducted utilizing the Best Value Source Selection (BVSS) Trade - off process. The Government intends to award to the best value offeror. This is planned as a new contract. No previous contract for this requirement exists. As such, requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Project Description: The project will include sustainable design principles in the design and construction of the facility in accordance with Executive Order 13123 and other laws and Executive Orders.
