The Carderock facility wants to completely renovate the male and female bathroom and lockers located on the Basement floor of Carderock’s building B-1. The basement flooded the bathroom- locker area and consequently Carderock demolished the area. The male and female bathroom-lockers serve an existing gym located across the hallway. The A/E contractor will submit drawings to completely restore each bathroom- locker area with all new architectural, mechanical and electrical components. Also provide an integrated sustainable design strategy to minimize the energy consumption of the facilities; conserve resources; minimize adverse effects to the environment; and improve occupant health, and comfort. The contractor will coordinate with the customer while doing activities that could be disruptive to the NSWCCD Front Office located in this building. Work activities like demolition, hammering and drilling that could cause a lot of noise should be coordinated to take place outside of normal working hours.
