The intent of this project is to provide a new generator to feed the additional mechanical loads in order to adequately exhaust toxic gas labs. Based on the initial surveys, both electrical and mechanical, a generator calculation was performed. In addition to the existing equipment on the generator and the four 15HP exhaust fans on the roof, all air handler units with the exception of AHU-4 shall be placed on the emergency generator. Prior to the start of construction the contractor shall be required to submit an overall construction schedule. This schedule shall include all of the individual planned outages by outage groups. The contractor will be required to submit a planned outage schedule to the contracting officer a minimum of three weeks prior to any outage.
