The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of the existing windows on the entire east façade, approximately 50% of the south elevation, including the stair tower, and a few windows on the north elevation. There are two types of metal panels on the façade – panels that are integrated into the window system as well as panels that are attached directly to the building. Modifications to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and IT infrastructure is limited to disconnecting and reconnecting as required for the replacement at each window. Modifications to the interior finishes is limited to those directly affected by the removal and installation of the windows. All entry doors, hardware and the associated glazing sidelights and/or transoms are included as a bid alternate. The canopy above the entrance door on the south elevation will also need to be replaced as it is integral to the entry system.
