Title: NRL-43 Replace Emerg Generator_Construction (Bundle) Location of the Work: U.S. Naval Research Laboratory Description of the Work: BASE (NRL 43): The purpose of this project is to remove the existing 40kW diesel emergency generator located on the west side of Building 43 and provide a new 400kW diesel generator located near the existing fuel oil tanks on Smith Street at NRL. OPTION 1 (NRL A49): This project will provide a new 2500 kVA/2000 kW emergency generator and automatic transfer switches (interior) for back-up power for NRL Building A49. The generator will be enclosed in a 1 hour rated structure with four walls and a roof. Option 2 (NRL A59): This project provide installation of a transformer and panelboard to serve the Robotics Lab. The panelboard will be in the northwest corner of the ground floor of the Robotics Laboratory. The panelboard will be a 150A main circuit breaker 208Y/120V, 3 phase panel to serve the existing general receptacles in the Robotics Laboratory.
