This procurement proposes to provide Curtis Engine & Equipment Inc. the task to service and repair the two (2), MTU Brand, 13.2KV/2.5MW backup diesel generators (Diesel Generator A & B). The diesel generators are located adjacent to the 13.2KW switchgear, building 1920 at NSF Indian Head (IH), MD. The proposed contract action will provide repairs to Diesel Generator B, re-stablish engine fluids operational conditions on both A & B Diesel Generators, and troubleshoot the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System. Curtis Engine & Equipment Inc. is the local authorized representative for MTU Inc., the manufacturer. They are the only company with administrative rights to access, troubleshoot, and repair our MTU diesel generators.
