The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) has issued a presolicitation notice for an upcoming solicitation for nonskid removal and replacement onboard U.S. Navy ships and other vessels. The solicitation is expected to be posted on SAM.gov on or after October 30, 2026. The Government intends to award a single five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed-price contract. Work must meet specified SSPC surface preparation standards, with nonskid application using MIL-PRF-24667 Type I, Type V roll-on, Type IV spray-on, or Type XI peel-and-stick sections. Offerors must demonstrate prior experience with nonskid removal/replacement on U.S. Navy Surface Combatants.
