This acquisition is to obtain services with a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for performing the repair and fleet modernization onboard USS DELBERT D BLACK (DDG 119) SSP SERM-506-24 INCREMENTAL SELECTED RESTRICTED AVAILABILITY (ISRA), anticipated to begin in October 2024. The type of work being performed are repairs to hull, mechanical, electrical, electronic, equipment, and components, as well as an extensive preservation package. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 7299A, the "Homeport Statute", this procurement will solicit offers from all offerors capable of performing the work in the Mayport homeport area. A SOLICITATION will be available on or about January 2024. Market research was conducted from 28 November 2023 through 15 December 2023, this solicitatation will not be set aside for small business. The solicitatation is FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. It is the Navy's intent to award a firm fixed price contractr for the performance of this requirement. This pre-solicitation synopsis is for planning porposes only and shall not be construde as a request for bids, quotation, proposals or as a obligation on the parts of the Government to acquire any products or services.This request does not obligate on the Government to any contract award nor the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract.
