NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) Contracting Division, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to FINCANTIERI MARINE SYSTEMS NORTH AMERICA. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency.
