The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Solicitation Notice to support the upcoming IDIQ for Overhauls and Repairs of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) 25, 34 and 40 Foot Patrol Boats. The overhaul will consist of structural, electrical, piping, mechanical and outfitting repairs for the boat, and boat trailer repairs. Typical systems which may require repairs or upgrades include, but are not limited to: Propulsion, Power,Command and Control, Steering, Fuel, Electrical, Communication, Hull, Structural, Towing, Anchoring and Outfitting. Equipment upgrades, alterations and modernization will also be performed. Interested parties must have or be able to obtain: -a certified welder in accordance with NAVSEA T 0300-AU-SPN-010A -a certified Cummins Engine technical representative -a certified HamiltonJet technical representative, The boats are located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville and can be towed via a provided trailer by the contractor to the contractor facility. The contractor's place of performance must be within a 50-mile radius of Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville, FL. In accordance with FAR Part 19, it has been determined based on the Government's market research; this solicitation will be able to be set aside for Small Business. The Small Business Representative provided concurrence on 09 February 2021. This solicitation will be a 100% small business set aside. This work will be performed at the contractor’s facility. NAICS Code 336611 applies.
