The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center issues this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to determine the extent of sources capable of supporting the upcoming Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) onboard USNS HUNTER (TSV-3). This is neither a solicitation nor request for proposal. The Government will use responses from this sources sought to make a decision about soliciting this requirement. It does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. Interested parties must have or be able to obtain an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) prior to contract award. The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 10 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
