The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is searching for potential sources that are capable of providing lithium thermal batteries. These are Critical Item Products used to support operations for guided missile systems. Delivery should be made no later than 48 weeks after contract award. This procurement is in support of the United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The intent of this RFI is to gauge industry/small business interest, capabilities, and relevant experience to support a NATO requirement for the delivery of 288 EAP-12159A Thermal Lithium Batteries (Part Numbers: MIS-38911). This is a non-commercial battery developed and qualified for use as a military requirement in the Stinger Missile System. These batteries have the unique ability to activate all the individual missile subassemblies within the system with a direct voltage and in a specific chronological sequence. This thermal battery requirement must be accompanied by required Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) Documentation for use with the Stinger missile. The required SLEP documentation is as follows: Export Control Data Sheets (ECDS), Top Drawings (TD), Shelf Life (SL), Ammunition Data Card (ADC), Date of Manufacturing (DoM) and a Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
