The primary objective of this project is to identify one or more COTS instruments as alternatives to the HAPSITE GC/MS for on-site analysis with real-time decision making as a tool to investigate the vapor intrusion pathway. Five COTS instruments have been identified for potential inclusion in the demonstration. These instruments will be evaluated for inclusion in the study based on verification of instrument availability, and expected performance capabilities based on vendor information. At least three instruments will be included in the bench-top study.
