The Portsmouth Naval Shiyard intends to issue a sole source solicitation and contract to BHI Energy Power Services LLC (cage code: 7AN38). The required Excel Staging components must be completely compatible in form, fit, and function with existing Excel Scaffolding systems at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Excel Scaffolding components being procured have been shown to meet all safety standards set forth by OSHA. Any change in design would negatively effect fleet wide avalibilities. Vendor BHI Energy is proprietary to manufacturing and customizing Excel Staging. BHI Energy is the authorized dealer for these Ecxel components, and provide full service for design, manufacture, and delivery that meets all OSHA and Federal regulations.
