NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD This is a synopsis/presolicitation notice for a commercial service purchase. SOLE SOURCE requirement for Exacom Inc. for Exclusive Licensing OEM Standalone Hindsight 50 Series Multi Media Recording Platform including licensing, installation, configuration, training and IA Hardening. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561621. The small Business Size Standard is $22.0 Million and this solicitation is a SOLE SOURCE. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price FFP contract with Exacom Inc. on a sole source basis by authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1. (Sole Source Justification attached) This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The schedule will be negotiated prior to award. Anticipated performance is from 30 Days ADC with 4 option years of service. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
