The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) intends to solicit for the repair and maintenance of the #1 and #2 Ship Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) Shipboard. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source is capable of fufilling this requirement. Northrop Grumman Marine Systems (NGMS) (Cage Code: 90099) is the Original Equipment Manufactuer (OEM) and thus owns the proprietary data; including drawings, equipment, and aproved processes required to perform this work. A solicitation will be avalible on or around 1/09/2024. Justification and Approval for sole source will be posted.
