This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13.5, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N3904022Q0235. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-06 and DFARS Change Notice 2022-0623. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 811310 and the Small Business Standard is $11 million. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following: The rebuild of one (1) 42” King Vertical Turret Lathe in accordance with the attached Request for Quote. See attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) sheet for details. • Place of Performance: The disassembly, reassembly, final accuracy testing will take place at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard’s (PNS) San Diego detachment in San Diego, CA, all other services will take place at the vendor’s facility. • Period of Performance: September 23, 2022 - September 22, 2023. • Award will based on the quote found to be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered in the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
