SOURCES SOUGHT Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine seeks sources capable of providing 120 ton and 275 ton mobile crane and crane operator services in accordance with attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). The anticipated contract vehicle is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed price (FFP) task orders. It is anticipated that the IDIQ will have a two (2) year ordering period from the IDIQ award date with three (3) option years. This Sources Sought announcement is published for market research purposes only. Provided for review is the following DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) document and attachments*: 1) Mobile_Crane_IDIQ_PWS_040121 2) Attachment A_ Lift Requirements 3) Attachment B_Area Map 4) Attachment C_List of Lifts *At a later date, an actual solicitation may to be posted to the Government Point of Entry, GPE, at beta.SAM.gov. with an official Solicitation number, SF 1449 Request for Quote, and a final Performance Work Statement. The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the Draft Performance Work Statement under NAICS Code 238990. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS Code is $16.5 Million. This Notice should NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor to ultimately award a contract. Responders acknowledge that this Notice does NOT restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach, nor to otherwise reimburse Responders for any costs that may be incurred in preparation of response(s) to this Notice. In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), responses to this notice are NOT deemed offers, and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
