This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the presolicitation notice. This is a presolicitation notice for a SOLE SOURCE requirement for Brandsafway Services, LLC. for a HAKI Cladding System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332211. The small Business Size Standard is 750 Employees and this solicitation is a SOLE SOURCE. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate and award a contract with Brandsafway Services, LLC. on a sole source basis by authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1. (Justification & Approval attached) This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The schedule will be negotiated prior to award. Anticipated delivery date is 12/3/2021 to commence upon contract award. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice.
