This Sources Sought notice (SSN) is in support of Market Research to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources, and if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 335313 which has a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. This SSN is to notify companies that the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, is seeking qualified sources for the acquisition of HMI PLC System in accordance with and access to proprietary drawing package by Taurus Powers and Control Inc, DWG 14-1564. As a result, the proposed acquisition strategy is sole source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(1) having only a limited number of responsible sources. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. All contractors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be registered as a potential source. Firms that possess the ability and can produce the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Only those Responders that are able to meet the following criteria should respond to this Sources Sought Notice: Entity is capable of meeting ALL specifications outlined in the attached DRAFT document. Entity has an active CAGE Code, and current registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). Entity does NOT appear on the Excluded Parties List Responses should include the following information: Company Name and CAGE Code as reflected in its current SAM Registration, and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
