The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to issue a sole source solicitation and contract to BHI Energy Power Services LLC (Cage: 7AN38). The required Excel Staging components must be compatible in all aspects (form,fit, and function) with the exsisting scaffolding system currently being used by The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The specific Excel Scaffolding components being procured have been shown to meet all safety standards set forth by OSHA. Any change in design would negatively effect fleet wide avalibilities. Vendor BHI Energy is proprietary to manufacturing and customizing Excel Staging. BHI Energy is the authorized dealer for these Ecxel components, and provide full service for design, manufacture, and delivery that meets all OSHA and Federal regulations.
