The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit an award a Sole Source contract to Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. to perform the breakdown, movement, and reassembly of the Mirion/Canberra FastScan from the Bldg 291 Control Point to it’s final resting location in the new Clinic and also for the breakdown, movement, and reassembly of the Mirion/Canberra FastScan from the Bldg H-1 to it’s final resting location in the Bldg 291 Control Point. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Canberra/Mirion does not support third party vendors due to proprietary rights of their software and equipment design.
