This is a SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This solicitaiton documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-05 and DFARS Change Notice 2020-0114. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is for a rental of Deisccant Climate Control Unit (DCCU). Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following: The rental of Desiccant Climate Control Unit at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Kittery Maine with a period of performance of 6/23/2021 - 6/22/2022 and one (1) option period 6/23/2022 - 2/3/2023, in accordance with the statement of work in the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ).
