Solicitation Notice This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code is 336611 and the Small Business Standard is 1,250 Employees. This is a notice for a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) solicitation. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Preventative Maintenance & Repairs, to include a full range of intermediate-level troubleshooting, repair, renewal, refurbishment, modernization, maintenance and testing of U.S. Navy Living Barges and their auxiliary systems (hull, mechanical and electrical) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and Exhibit A in the attached Standard Form 1449 Request for Quote. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The performance schedule will be negotiated prior to award. The anticipated period of performance is to be from September 23, 2021 to September 22, 2022. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of this solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto.
