The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit and award a Sole Source contract to CEPEDA Associates for Installation, repair and maintenance of the Scrubber and Burners CO/H2 System aboard a Virginia Class Submarine. This requirement is for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to perform the services. CEPEDA Associates has not authorized the use of their drawings by any third party. CEPEDA Associates is a small business. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. CEPEDA Associates owns the proprietary drawings, and is the only vendor that is authorized to accomplish the work. Place of Performance is Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine 03904. Period of Performance is 1/06/20 - 5/20/20. A solicitation will be posted to FBO.gov on or around 11/12/20. Justification and Approval for Sole Source will be included with the solicitation. Add the following to Description: Persuant to FAR 6.302-1 and the attached Justification and Approval, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is soliciting Cepeda Associates for the repair and maintenance of the CO/H2 Scrubbers and Burners aboard a US Navy Ship.
