This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial requirement prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented by Part 13, and with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is N3904020Q0200 and is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DPN) 20200408. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333515. The small Business Size Standard is 500 employees and this solicitation is a SOLE SOURCE requirement. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate and award a contract with E.H. WACHS a division of Illinois Tool Works, Inc. on a sole source basis by authority of FAR 6.302-1. (Sole Source Justification attached) This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. This is a commercial requirement for supplies detailed in Attachments 1-4 for delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. The expected delivery date is by 6/26/2020.
