Please submit quoatations to: Danelle Quinn, Contract Specialist, danelle.quinn@navy.mil **********End of Amendment 002 ********* **********Amendment 001********** The purpose of this amendment is to remove and replace two items of information requested by the government to be included in quote submissions in response to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, N3904020Q0138. a. Technical acceptability will be based on the demonstrated ability to meet the technical requirement, including the delivery requirement. The vendor must demonstrate how it will meet the delivery requirement; a mere statement indicating the vendor will meet the government’s requirements will be deemed unacceptable. To ensure technical compliance with the requirements, vendor quotes shall include the following information. REMOVED Calculations/analysis - All calculations required for the design of the lifting pads shall be performed by a structural engineer and/or certified by a registered Professional Engineer and submit to the PNSY with the quote. Provide detailed drawings of design, installation and welding requirements for the modular building described in this specification. All drawings shall be certified by a registered professional engineer. TO REPLACE Confirm Ability to provide calculations/analysis - All calculations required for the design of the lifting pads shall be performed by a structural engineer and/or certified by a registered Professional Engineer and submitted to the PNSY upon award. The quote submission must include confirmation that the vendor is able to provide the calculations and analysis post-award and the estimated timeline for the deliverable. Confirm Ability to provide detailed drawings of design, installation and welding requirements for the modular building described in this specification. All drawings shall be certified by a registered professional engineer. Vendors are permitted to submit revised Technical and Price quotations to the extent necessary to address changes in this Amendment. Vendors who decide not to submit revised quotations will inform the Government of that decision by the time and date set for receipt of the revised quotations. If a Vendor submits a timely notification of its decision, the Government intends to consider the Vendor’s existing quotation in making the source selection decision. Vendors who fail to comply with these instructions will be considered ineligible for contract award. c. All additional terms and conditions of the combined synopsis/solicitation remain. d. Quotes are due by June 11, 2020 no later than 12:00pm. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is N3904020Q0138 and is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-04, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DPN) 20200123. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332311. The small Business Size Standard is 750 employees and this solicitation is Total Small Business Set-Aside. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. This is a commercial requirement for a 12'.0"W x 40'-0" L x 8'.6" H Portable Container Office Enclosure to be used as a portable building for specific projects at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. The expected delivery date is by 8/14/2020. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Quotes will be received by email only.
