PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: N3904020Q0090 This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the presolicitation notice. The NAICS code is 541330 and the Small Business Standard is 16.5M (for Engineering Services). The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Engineering and design services for the development of a fire protection system to be installed in a fabricated enclosure used for painting and blasting. Place of performance is the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The schedule will be negotiated prior to award. Anticipated performance is from March 05 2020 to March 05 2021. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
