PRESOLICITATION NOTICE N3904020Q0074 This is a presolicitation notice for a SOLE SOURCE requirement for Southwestern Industries, Inc., Preventative and Corrective Maintenance of various SWI TRAK metalworking machines . The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310. The small Business Size Standard is 8.0 Million and this solicitation is a SOLE SOURCE. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate and award a contract with Southwestern Industries, Inc. on a sole source basis by authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1. (Sole Source Justification attached) This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The schedule will be negotiated prior to award. Anticipated performance is from February 2020 to February 2021, with four (4) option years. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
