The Government received an inquiry regarding insulation in the storeroom, and the clarification is as follows: In the YFN 1288 package, work item 511-11-001, Unit Heater; Install, Paragraph 3.1, states: "Accomplish the requirements of 2.2, and 2.3." Item 2.2 is the HVAC Mods Hold Barge Upgrade drawing. It is THAT drawing that identifies the insulation to be installed while modifying the "hold" to a "storeroom". General Note 3 of the drawing states, "The purpose of this drawing is to install heating and hull thermal insulation for the new storeroom located the hold deck of the YFN-1288." Previous barge conversions actually had a work item that called out this insulation. THIS particular work package calls out the insulation WITHIN the "heater" item.
