PRESOLICITATION NOTICE N3904020Q0136 This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the presolicitation notice. The NAICS code is 336611 and the Small Business Standard is 1,250 employees. This is a notice for a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) solicitation. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Routine overhaul (ROH) services to recondition Barge YC-1620. This requirement will include towing services from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard located on Seavey Island in Kittery, ME to the contractor’s facilities, and then back to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard located on Seavey Island in Kittery, ME upon completion of services. Place of performance is the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. The performance schedule will be negotiated prior to award. The anticipated period of performance is to be from July 1, 2020 to October 15, 2020. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for 12:30 PM ET local time on June 17, 2020. Requests to visit the site MUST be submitted by 1:00 PM ET local time June 8, 2020.
