The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR 13. This requirement will be solicited as other than full and open competition (Attached Justification) Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government intends to procure the required BAE Systems, Inc. brand XTS Data Diodes hardware and associated UDL Data Diode interface softwSTare required by the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (NMOC) to support the Primary Oceanographic Prediction System (POPS) and Oceanographic Information System (OIS) program. Location: NMOC, Stennis Space Center, MS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334111– Electronic Computer Manufacturing, the Federal Supply Code is 7G21 IT and Telecom - Network: Digital Network Products (hardware and Perpetual License Software), and the size standard is 1,250 Employees. The place of delivery will be 1100 Balch Boulevard Room 33306 Stennis Space Center, MS 39529 This pre-solicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available on or about 02 April 2024, by downloading the documents at the SAM.gov website as follows: https://sam.gov/. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying they are not currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to consider the offer for award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
