This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited - all responses will be treated as information only and it is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources to provide Fingerprinting Services for Naval Training Support Center (NTSC). The period of performance for this anticipated contract includes a one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The Government plans to procure these services as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. Please see attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for all required work - especially the 9.0 CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS Section. This requirement will limit vendors to be registered in the SWFT program and located within a specific distance within multiple commands nation-wide. There is no substitute for these minimum qualifications. Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall reference the Sources Sought number and shall include the following information in this format: 1) Provide a non-binding courteousy quote, also known as a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), with regard to the services to be performed. At a minimum, please provide the General Schedule (GS) grade equivalent in accordance with OPM. 2) Company name, address, Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 3) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 4) Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 5) Capability statement displaying the contractor’s ability to provide the minimum requirements to include past performance information. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years. Please also include in past performance information the contract numbers, dollar value, and period of performance for each contract referenced in the response to this sources sought. 6) Provide questions, comments, or feedback regarding the draft PWS, planned contract type or any other associated information. Responses shall be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) listed in this notice the closing date and time of this notice. Any inquiries and capability statements received after the due date shall not be considered. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
