The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). PHNSY & IMF intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman to provide technical services to PHNSY & IMF for repair of the #1 Ship’s Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) onboard a Virginia class submarine. Northrop Grumman is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is certified to perform repair the Ship’s Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) onboard a Virginia class submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID# N32253-20-R-0011) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), beta.sam.gov, from 8JUN2020 – 26JUN2020 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. Note: The N32253-21-R-0003 solicitation document is available upon request to those interested parties who submitted capability statements. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2021-03, DFARS (last updated 01/15/2021), and NMCARS 18-15.
