GENERAL INTENTION/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide repairs to the existing 2 each racquetball courts located in bldg. 175, NAS I, by means of a firm fixed price construction contract complete and ready for use. The following paragraphs are intended to provide amplifying or additional information with respect to specific details of the project and are not intended to subordinate any regulatory or statutory requirements contained in the contract. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety Manual, EM-385-1-1, the most current version, in accordance with Italian Laws, Norms and Regulations regarding Safety at Temporary Work Site (Norme per la Sicurezza nei Cantieri Temporanei e Mobili), and with all NFPA applicable codes (NFPA 101 & NFPA 99).
