Offerors must also be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1 lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation which shall be considered. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed type contract based on the lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror. NMRC's Bone Marrow Research Program has developed a high-resolution molecular typing for HLA genes at allele level and also added genotypig for ABO. The laboratory extracts DNA for potential bone marrow donors using the KingFisher Flex robotic system.
