This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute a solicitation for bids or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for the materials for the repair and overhaul of the Ship Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) onboard two Virginia-class submarines. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought was posted to the Government Point of Entry, SAM.gov from 8 April 2025 - 11 April 2025 to satisfy the requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirement. This pre-solicitation does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This posting serves as a pre solicitation notice in association with N32253-25-R-1001 and N32253-25-R-0004 (related notice) and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. A solicitation notice will be posted on or about 23 May 2025.
