Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) requests for quote (RFQ) N32253-22-Q-0072 with the intent to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract to provide services to rebuild one carriage (Z-axis) drive gearbox for the RD&D Shaft Lathe. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $8,000,000.00. The Product Service Code is J049, Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Maintenance And Repair Shop Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, DFARS 05/26/2022, and NMCARS 18-21. Please note the following: Please submit a technical proposal (not to exceed 3 pages) that clearly demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of, and approach to, accomplishing each paragraph listed in the PWS and solicitation requirements. The proposal must contain sufficient details (to include the quantity, what can and cannot be provided, and the method) so that it may be evaluated in accordance with the PWS and comply with the period of performance set forth in the solicitation.
