This request for capability information does not constitute as a request for proposals. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submissions of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) to Curtiss-Wright in accordance with RFO 6.103-1, for a Firm-Fixed price contract to perform the removal, installation, and operational testing of the ship’s No. 1 and No. 2 High Pressure Air Compressors (HPACs) onboard a Los Angeles-Class Submarine. The Government received a response from one company expressing interest, but the company did not submit a capability statement. Therefore, the Government determined that the interested party is not capable of fulfilling this requirement.
