Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Ducworks Inc. for commercial structural repairs and hardware replacement on a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC). The performance location is the Dry Dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF. Ducworks Inc. is the intended source as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole holder of the proprietary engineering data and specialized drawings required for the repair. The OEM does not license or authorize any third-party providers to perform this service, and the government's technical warrant holder has determined only the OEM can meet the requirements. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the technical and safety requirements, including access to OEM proprietary data, for consideration by the agency.
