In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation. This notice is to determine the availability of small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to provide monthly rental of seven (7) high-capacity dehumidifying/air conditioning units to support mission-critical environmental control operations. Each unit must have a minimum cooling capacity of 25 tons, airflow capacity of at least 5000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and be mounted on a skid with certified welded lifting points for safe handling and deployment. Additional specifications for the DH/AC unit rental is stated in the performance work statement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 532490 - Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing and the small business size standard is $40,000,000. The Product Service Code is W041 – Lease or Rental of Equipment- Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Air Circulating Equipment. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.
