This presolicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a competitive sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the Ship Service Turbine Generator on board a Virginia class submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206-302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-R-0009, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 7 March 2024 - 15 March 2024 to satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirement. This presolicitation notice does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This posting serves as a presolicitation notice in association with N32253-24-R-0009 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. A solicitation notice will be posted on or about 5 April 2024.
