The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit a full and open competition strategy Firm-Fixed Price contract to repair the propulsor onboard a Virginia-class submarine. The requirement is to accomplish the inspection and repair of propulsor “PC. 1A” and leading edge ring that are in accordance with work package HRMC-515-24. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standards for this NAICS code is 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment – Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov by the award date. A solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 12 August 2024. Written offers shall be submitted in accordance with the CLIN structure and instructions that will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. All offers shall be emailed to the primary and secondary point of contact listed in the upcoming posting.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.
