The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to Leonardo DRS, Marlo Coil to provide installation, technical assistance, inspection, testing, adjustment and personnel training of a Ship Stores Refrigeration Unit (SSRU) onboard a Virginia Class Submarine under the authority of 10 U.S.C3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the Size Standard of 1,300 applies. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding, of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) by the award date. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02, DFARS 01/22/2024, and NMCARS 18-22. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-Q-0019, was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, on 05 January 2024 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement, which resulted in no other qualified sources from the industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. This presolicitation notice does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
