In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID#N32253-22-R-0013) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, on June 6, 2022 for three (3) days to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the Size Standard of 1,250 apply. Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment. Please note the following: *This solicitation is available upon request only. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to Cepeda Associates to provide technical services to PHNSY & IMF for the removal, overhaul, and reinstallation of #1 and #2 scrubbers onboard a Virginia-class submarine. Cepeda Associates is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is the only one that can perform this work onboard Naval 774 Class Submarines. The tentative period of performance is 01 August 2022 – 31 October 2023. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID# N32253-22-R-0013) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, from 6 June 2022 – 8 June 2022 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement.
