This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY& IMF) intends to solicit from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for material, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the Ship Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) onboard a Virginia Class submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-22-R-0009, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, from 29 April 2022 to 05 May 2022 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received zero response from interested vendors. The Government received no other responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incur. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-22-R-0009 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204.
