The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a competitive sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to solicit to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation to install and test the High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) No. 1 and 2 onboard a class 688 submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-22-Q-0033 was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, on 4 March 2022, to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement, which resulted in no other qualified source from the industry indicating capability in performing the requirements.
